Founded in 1973 by JM Massana, JM Tremoleda and M Ferrer. Number 114, Carrer Enric Granados in the Eixample district of Barcelona was the first home for Mobles 114 and gave rise to its name.


From the outset, Mobles 114 was a design and production company, manufacturing the first pieces designed by its founders at the same time as including other designers in its catalogue.


 


With its desire to export, Mobles 114 didn’t take long to become the company it is today: a producer of furniture that offers, supports and promotes long-lasting, attractive but practical design around the world.


 


Over its history, outstanding designers, architects and artists have worked with the firm, such as: Isamo Noguchi, Enzo Mari, Oscar Tusquets, Álvaro Siza and Javier Mariscal, among many others.
