Joakim stammt aus der fünften Generation der Möbelfabrikantenfamilie Fritz Hansen und ist heute als Geschäftsfürer bei Montana und Director Design & Communication bei Montana verantwortlich für Produktentwicklung, Kommunikation und Marketing.


Joakim Lassen ist diplomierter Kulturgeograf und begann seine Berufslaufbahn als Umweltberater bei den namhaften Ingenieurfirmen Cowi und Rambøll. 1998 kam Joakim Lassen als Geschäftsführer der Firma DJOB, die 2009 mit Montana fusionierte, zur Möbelbranche.

Henrik Leander's design strongly reflects his art-influenced background, primarily in ceramics. He received formal training as a potter and then progressed to the Danish Design School, graduating in 1995. Leander's work bears resemblance to the classic forms of organic modernism, typically associated with names such as Charles Eames, Eero Saarinen og Verner Panton. In his work, soft lines and curved shapes are united using an open and bright expressiveness. Working with pliable materials appears to have been a key inspiration to Leander's design, indeed he took the organic essence of his forms to the limit in 1997, when he designed a chair constructed purely of plant fibres.
