In 1996, Joana Bover founded Bover in Barcelona, Spain. Born from napkin sketches scribbled down at a restaurant, the Bover brand now ships its diverse product profile around the world. Today, a full team of respected designers joins Joana Bover in creating new lighting experiences for people everywhere.

He studied architecture at the University Institute of Architecture of Venice, where he graduated in 1989. He expanded his studies in New York, but at the end of his doctoral thesis in 1989 he moved to Barcelona, ​​in 1991 he began collaborating with Enric Miralles, with whom he Associate later to form the Miralles Tagliabue EMBT study . Their collaboration led them to place their study among the most prestigious architecture studios and international projection. The architecture workshop is characterized by the balance between a fragmented and convulsive aesthetic and respect for the tradition of the place, an idea that Miralles knew how to convey to Benedetta and that it has continued to capture.
