Jan Habraken sees each project as a singular challenge, finding an answer to “the unique questions raised by each unique situation." His portfolio includes limited-edition furniture and vases, as well as mass-produced products like a reusable shopping tote. Habraken has also created interiors and exhibition spaces. After all, he studied architectural engineering before transferring to Design Academy Eindhoven. He currently operates his studio in New York City and frequently collaborates with his wife, Alissia Melka-Teichroew.
