Jan Ejhed, architect SAR/SIR/SA, is professor of lighting and head of the Lighting Laboratory at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Campus Haninge, Stockholm. He is also a researcher, lighting designer and light fitting designer.
His light fittings can be seen in a wide range of settings, from airfields and museums (e.g. Museum of Modern Art, Stockholm) and offices (e.g. Electrolux).
Jan Ejhed started up the Lighting Laboratory in Haninge with his wife and colleague, interior designer Agneta Ejhed. The laboratory has an international reputation and is, in fact, more widely known abroad than in Sweden.
