Giulio Iacchetti:
Industrial designer since 1992, designs for many brands including Abet Laminati, Alessi, Danese, Casamania, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Magis, Meritalia, Moleskine. He is curator of exhibitions like Cruciale held in Milano, Roma, Enna and Ration-K, the food for the soldier in action held by Triennale Milano in January 2015. He has been awarded two Compasso D’Oro, one in 2001 for the biodegradable spoon/fork Moscardino, and another in 2014 for the manhole coverings designed for Montini. In May 2009 the Triennale di Milano held a solo exhibition entitled “Giulio Iacchetti. Disobedient objects”. In November 2012 he launches Internoitaliano, the “factory network” made up of many craftsmen labs with whom he signs and produces furniture and accessories inspired by the italian way of living.
Alessandro Stabile:
Alessandro Stabile (Milan, 1985) lives and works in Milan. In the 2013 he is selected by Italian Cultural Institute of New York as one of ten “Top Young Italian Industrial Designers”. He holds a bachelors degree in industrial design from Politecnico di Milano in 2007 and in 2008 he obtains a Master at SPD – Scuola Politecnica of Design. In the same year he wins with Isaac Piñeiro the Ferrero contest “Il design per Nutella” and the “New Bixy” contest designing a pedal assisted electric bicycle for Bixy company. Since 2008 till now, he works with Giulio Iacchetti as product designer and project leader, following projects for many companies like Alessi, Magis, Foscarini, Panasonic, Moleskine, Meritalia, DaneseMilano. In 2011 he founded his own studio. He has designed for Ferrero, SPD, UnitedPets, Internoitaliano, Serrature Meroni, Appartamento Lago. He is art director of Artifex.
