To me, the user experience is the most important aspect to any given product. And this experience is determined by materials, form and functionality.

Erik Wester is a Norwegian designer currently based in Oslo. Before settling down in his native country, Erik graduated in product and furniture design from Kingston University in London and then worked a couple of years in Amsterdam. Erik is interested in the many ways of understanding a certain object – always creating new projects with a focus on comfort and well-considered form made from high-quality materials. Wester is especially fond of wood due to the warm atmosphere and tactile feel this living material has to offer.
