Francesco Giannattasio was born in Salerno in 1970 and graduated in Architecture at the University of Naples “Federico II”.
In 2000 he founded the studio carrying his own name and later on the name changed into the current FGA “Francesco Giannattasio Architects”, composed of a team of expert architects and designers.
FGA covers both architectural projects and interior design, moving with great flexibility among various fields of interest: from residential to commercial, from the exhibition sector to the industry hotel, in addition to the design of workspaces such as offices and showrooms. All this with the clear purpose/ to combine the functional organization of the environments with the pure furnishings design, testing of new materials and alternative solutions.
Among his most important performances we include: private residences, both in italy (Salerno, Naples, Rome, Gaeta, milano) and abroad (Miami), nightclubs, lounge bars, stores and showrooms.
In recent years he created for the exhibition area many stands and display-sets for the most important tradefairs: Cersaie (Bologna), Cevisama (valencia), Domotex (Hannover), Made Expo (Milan) for customers such as ITC Ceramiche, Divina Ceramiche, Rharum Floors, Deckum Floor; Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Milan (client Conformadesign), Mebel, Moscow (clients Brothers, Starwood and Valflex).
His cooperation with several private companies led to projects for retail and corporate design: remarkable examples are the development of the concept of brand clothing Kocca, for the realization of its shops and corners all over the world and of the wellness centres La Beauté, as well as the display spaces for ITC Ceramiche and Divina Ceramiche worldwide.
The studio activity also involves industrial design project, furnishing and lighting design, including productions with several companies operating in the lighting field (Lumencenter, Modo, Status) and in the furniture design (Bel Air, Brothers, Conformadesign, Green, Italartsofa, ITC Ceramiche, Divina Ceramiche). ~
