EASY to assemble
The EASY sofa is easy to assemble: a few minutes will suffice with 2 people on the job. And if you happen to be moving house, the EASY can be disassembled just as easily and will accompany you year after year at every stage of your life.

EASY’s seat and cushions offer the ultimate in comfort: inviting, firm and ample. EASY’s seat is made of high resiliency foam with excellent durability (density of 35 kg/m3) and an extra layer of cushioning to enhance the feeling of comfort.

Easy to keep
Like all TIPTOE objects, the EASY sofa has been designed to last in terms of solidity, choice of materials and ease of maintenance.
All our materials are high quality and ultra-resistant. The powder-coated steel frame is virtually indestructible. The fabrics from the Danish company Gabriel boast an exceptional resistance to abrasion and friction (the “Martindale” method which measures the resistance of fabrics shows a score of 60,000 to 100,000 for the EASY sofa, or 6 to 10 times greater than the required standard of 10,000).
The EASY cushions can have all their coverings removed and are machine washable for ease of care, year after year.

Sustainable materials and eco-design
Woven by design house Gabriel, founded in 1851 in Denmark, EASY’s textile is made of polyester recycled from plastic bottles (at a rate of 75 to 98% depending on the fabric). The textile boasts the “OEKO-TEX 100” label, a very demanding international standard in terms of respect for the health of the user and the environment, as well as the “EU Ecolabel”, the European reference for eco-designed products.
The cushions are filled with recycled foam flakes (note: the seat is a “virgin”, high-resilience foam made in France. Despite our tests, it is not yet possible to create a sufficiently comfortable seat in recycled foam). Finally, the structure of the sofa is made of steel, the most recycled material worldwide and infinitely recyclable.
Unlike most sofas where the use of glue and staples makes the materials virtually inseparable, EASY is a model of recyclability: each element can easily be disassembled at the end of its life (steel, foam, textile) to be recycled.
A sofa 100% made in Europe
Like all TIPTOE objects, the EASY sofa is 100% Made in Europe.
We work with European partners with exceptional know-how, with whom we build long-term relationships.
The foam and the cushion filling as well as the screws are made in France. The weaving of the textile and fabrication of the coverings are done in Lithuania. The steel structure is made in Bulgaria.
Simplicity, functionality and optimism
Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, BIG-GAME is a design studio founded in 2014 by Augustin Scott de Martinville, Elric Petit and Grégoire Jeanmonod.
BIG-GAME promotes a simple, functional and optimistic vision of object design. The trio of designers collaborate with prestigious partners around the world and some of their creations have already joined the collections of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris or the MoMA in New York.

From our very first discussions with the BIG-GAME studio, we established precise and ambitious specifications in terms of comfort, durability and functional efficacy to design our first sofa.
The BIG-GAME trio immediately showed a natural enthusiasm for designing a sofa that goes for the essentials and does away with the superfluous.
The result is called EASY: a timeless design, minutes to assemble, a model of sustainability and everyday comfort.

In particular, the fabric is made by prestigious design firm Gabriel, founded in Denmark, in 1851. Depending on the fabric, EASY coverings are made of 75% to 98% recycled textile, derived from used bottles.
