The S-Table was designed in 1953 and is part of a coherent collection that also includes the B-Table, the C-Chair and the Trèfle Stool. With its simple, tapered legs, sturdy frame and space-saving rectangular table top, the table impresses with its functional simplicity. The table top can be extended by one meter, creating two additional seats on each side and providing space for up to ten people. The table top splits in the middle and can be pulled apart to accommodate two inserts, which can be stored under the table top when not in use. The entire table, including the pull-out mechanism, is made of solid oak or walnut veneer.
