In the blink of an eye, the comfortable sofa in your living room, TV room, or guest room transforms into a bed where two people can sleep soundly. Simply fold the backrest backward, and you’ll have a sleeping surface measuring 140x200 cm that can be covered with a sheet. So you don’t have to sleep completely flat—or if you’d like to read in bed—the headrest can be adjusted to your desired height in increments. All that’s missing for a comfortable night’s sleep is a pillow and a comforter.
The Innovation Balder Sofa Bed is the ideal solution when friends visit often and would like to stay the night. It doesn’t take up much space, yet offers a comfortable place to sleep for two people and also features storage space. It can also be transformed into a cozy sleeping haven for a quick afternoon nap whenever you like.
The sofa bed has a matte black steel frame, and the legs and armrests are made of light-colored, lacquered oak. The storage compartment is included. The cover, available in various fabric types and a wide range of colors, ensures the sofa bed blends seamlessly into your interior.
The sofa bed was designed in 2015 by the WeissKrogh studio and Per Weiss for the Danish furniture company Innovation.
