The Basic Futon is an 11 cm thick cotton mattress with a PU foam core. A polyester content of 5–10% in the cotton blend ensures a higher density and greater thickness compared to traditional Japanese futons, without compromising the characteristic properties of the classic futon. The cotton adapts to and supports the body, while the foam core absorbs light movement. The Basic Futon offers a medium-firm sleeping comfort. As all futon products are handcrafted, slight variations in dimensions and weight may occur.
