The lantern collection from LIGHT-POINT, a contemporary version of the classic lamp shape that has existed for centuries, has just been honored with a Red Dot award for its high-quality design.
The lantern collection, created by the Danish designer Marie Holsting, has a rectangular shape and a solid, black lacquered frame in aluminum and glass. It comes in wall, bed and a rechargeable table versions and has a built-in LED light source. It highlights an interplay of angles and geometric shapes that give the collection its distinctive graphic and architectural touch.
Light enclosed by glass also evokes the feeling of warmth and security indoors, as if it were a soothing window on a dark evening.
Lantern Table comes with a rechargeable built-in Lithium ion battery and an associated charger. Lantern Table T1 has the dimensions 100 x 100 x 240mm.
Optimal operating time for Lantern Table from fully charged condition is approx. 4-12 hours. As the product can be dampened in three steps, the operating time varies. Four hours is operating time at maximum brightness.
