Massana :


A pioneer of industrial design along with Josep Maria Tremoleda. Both studied on the first course in that discipline at the Massana school of design (1965-1969).
In 1968, he created the 'Equip de Disseny' (Design Team) with F. Miravitlles and J. Doménec.

Five years later, with Josep Maria Tremoleda, he became an editor and co-founder of Mobles 114, a furniture shop and interior design studio.
The success of this project was borne out in 2001 when Mobles 114 won the National Design Award.




Tremoleda:

Ferrer:


Mariano is one of the pioneers of industrial design in Spain together with Josep Maria Massana, with whom he was among the first to graduate in industrial design from Escola Eina in Barcelona (1965-1969).

In 1971 he carried out his first designs for Gris alongside Carles Riart and Bigas Luna. He worked as a designer for several companies and along with Josep Maria Massana and Josep Maria Tremoleda he established Mobles 114, a furniture store and interior design studio.
