Educated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design in 2005 with additional studies at Rhode Island School of Design in USA, my focus as a textile designer is on colours, patterns, and tactility. What drives my work, is a constant search for fresh ways of exploring colour and pattern in the material.

Before setting up my design studio in Copenhagen in 2013, I worked as a printing assistant at The Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia, USA, followed by seven years as a textile designer for the fashion company EPICE in Paris, developing colours and patterns, and overseeing production in India.

In addition to running my own studio, I am part of the duo Halstrøm-Odgaard together with furniture designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm. We design furnitures and objects from the two simple questions ‘What if colour or pattern is seen as something suggesting form’ and ‘what if form is seen as something suggesting a pattern’.
